The Blue September Prostate Cancer Mystery outing was a big success, with a donation from those who attended going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Everyone had to wear something blue, and some of our club members really went all out dressing up, especially the Smurfs! It was not such a nice day for a car event but those that attended made the most of it. Leaving from Orewa Surf Club they had to do things along the way and answer questions which gave points to the final total, and those with the most points won prizes. There was the usual booby prizes, which are mandatory in this sort of event, and even though the organiser didn’t think about it, some people were using Google to answer some of the questions, but, there was nothing said that they could not do it.
But all in all a great day out and this will done again next September for sure!!
