UPCOMING EVENT

Friday April 24th, 2026. Meet at Victor Eaves at 6.00pm, setting of at 6.30pm for a run to Ten Pin Bowling, Whangaparaoa. Parking has been arranged in the Coast Plaza Lower Car park. Special discount for bowling has been negotiated for $10 per head. Afterwards we'll move up to Beerspot drinks. The German Schnitzel food truck will be available to eat on the premises. If preferred though there is also "Better Burgers", "Aroma of India" and "Umi Japanese Kitchen" to choose from. These however, aren't able to be eaten in Beerspot premises.

MANGAWHAI EASTER SHOW

5th April Easter Show. A great family day out with an easter egg hunt and more to entertain the kids, while the whole family have a great day out all about cars.... of course.

BEACHHOP 2026

26th - 28th March. The famous Beachhop weekend that all rodders look forward to. Another great one this year. 

FISH 'N' CHIPS RUN

8th March. Run to Wenderholm for a magnificent Fish and chip feast from Captain Kerr's in Orewa. Finished off with a cheeky (not so little) icecream.

FEBRUARY BURGER RUN TO REBURGER SILVERDALE

27th February. Monthly Burger Run. This time to ReBurger in Silverdale, with burger and fries "picnic in the carpark". DELICIOUS!!

THE WESTPAC RESCUE HELICOPTER TRUST CHEQUE PRESENTATION RUN

22nd February. Club run to the Westac Rescue Helicopter headquarters at Ardmore Airport. Presenting a cheque for the whopping amount of $80,200.00 raised for the charity at the Rodders Beach Festival in January.

NZHRA ZONE 2 RODDERS PICNIC 

31st January. The club was invited to a great family day at Kumeu Showgrounds for a picnic and entertainment organised by The Zone 2 faction of the New Zealand Hod Rod Association. 

2026 RODDERS BEACH FESTIVAL – OREWA

23rd - 25th January. The fantastic 3 day beach festival held at Orewa Beach raising funds for the Westpac Helicopter Trust. The ultimate aim is to raise enough money to cover the costs of all the Hibiscus Coast rescues over the year. What a great cause!!!

KUMEU CLASSIC CAR AND HOD ROD FESTIVAL

Friday 16th - Sunday 18th January at Kumeu Showgrounds. Unfortunately Sunday was cancelled due to bad weather.
