The club met at Victor Eaves Park at 10.00am to roll out at 10.30am and headed to Huapai Country Club. The residents really enjoyed the ride in all the cars. Part of the proceeds from our lunch there was donated to Hospice, plus the proceeds from the raffle.

Saturday 22nd August 10am - 4pm. Orewa College celebrated it's 70th anniversary with a community open day. The school invited Hibiscus Rodders to participate and display our cars for the public.
Remembering the Rodders we have lost in Zone 2 in 2026. Organised by Southside Streeters, South City Cruisers and Manukau Rod & Custom Club. Met at Ray Small Park, Papakura departed at 10.30 for a great run through the countryside ending up at Ardmore Airport for the memorial ceremony.
Started with a vehicle check and estimate of your car weight. Then around Rock and Rubble in Silverdale for a legit weigh in to see who got there guess correct. Driving onto the end of Ara Weiti Rd for photos sound off and a special fluid change for Wayne and Carol Gum. A photo shoot at the lake on the way to the Albany Pub and moved onto North Shore Rod and Custom Club for a social BBQ and nibbles. Finishing with a massive prize pool of awards and trophies. I should mentioned the trophies were all manufactured by Richard.
