Saturday 9th May. Another great Mothers Day run for the ladies this year. Sharon Morris arranged a wonderful day starting with a run to The Botanics for a lovely lunch after a cruise around the village to treat the residents to a look at the V8 Chicks' cars. Then it was off to D:Still Project gin distillery for a tasting of the various lovely Coatsvillian Gins with a beautiful cheese board to go with it. Along with patting the alpacas and a visit to the gin school. Thanks so much Sharon.
24th April. Monthly burger run with a twist. As usual we all met at Victor Eaves Park, Orewa driving to 10 pin Bowling Alley, Stanmore Bay. Grant called everyone together before the start with a twist - only bowl with your opposite hand to which you normally use. Lots of laughs, cheers and fun. Some of the photos it is guessing the silhouette. Prizes were handed out at the end. We than walked up to The Beer Spot and most had German Schnitzel from the food truck while some went Indian or had a burger from the food court. Great evening, thanks to Grant and Tania for organising. Pablo chose the best car on the Run and Eric won the trophy.
Easter Show at Mangawhai. A great family day out with an easter egg hunt and more to entertain the kids, while the whole family have a great day out all about cars.... of course.
